I am looking for a free recommended Android App for Bus timetable & live times, any particular recommendations, as a few on the play store.

i don't live in the uk so i don't know which one is better.....there are others but those were the first two that came up.

From experience when I've been in the UK, live bus timetable and schedule apps are specific to the company running the service where you are, e.g. If it's First Bus, then install and use the First Bus app, for TfL in London use the TfL app, etc.
