Looking for an app that recognizes songs

Hi,
Once upon a time I owned a Acer A500 which is now dead. On my Acer there was one thing I really liked:
There was an option in the music player for the tablet to recognize what is the full name of a song, including its album, the year, the artist and rating. It would take a song with "Unknown Artist" and find the artist and album.

Does anyone know of a similar app or what that app is called?

I don't know the app in question, but Shuttle Music player supports ID3 tagging in the paid version. Whether or not it would work in the manner you're suggesting or you'd need to input details manually, I don't know.

Shaman, SoundHound are two that have very good ratings. Alternatively ask Google to identify your music. My personal preference is Shazam.

Those are for recognizing songs based on the audio; I believe Adir is looking for an app to scan his music collection and assign names to any files without proper ID3 tags. Both are "music identification" actions, but they're quite different.
