Looking for app like My Tracks that keeps display on

I really like My Tracks but I want this app to have a setting where the display is on while in use. I thought it did when I used it on my HTC Incredible. In any case, is there any app that is similar to My Tracks that will give me the option of having the display on while the app is in use?

Why can't you set your display timeout to never?

I use Tasker to disable screen timeout when specific apps are running, if the app does not offer that.

There is also an app called Screen On. Lets you pick which apps you want the timeout disabled for. Works great and its free.

I know I could set the display to never turn off but I only want the display to stay on only when I use that particular app. I'll look into Screen On.
