Looking for app or shortcut to empty folder

[durocher]

Hello,

First post, Ill try to make myself clear and not forgets any details.

I have a recuring problem with my phone and I need to constently empty a folder otherwise I have to reboot.

What I want is an app or a way to create a shortcut that will delete all file in folder x. It has to have root rights too.

Any suggestion?

I have some programming background so if there is a way to script the whole process gimme a hint where to start.

Phone: hts desire
Distro: Cyanogenmod 7.

Cheers

Dominic.

Tasker has a Delete File and Delete Directory action that you could have it execute either by pressing a widget or shortcut on the home screen, or have it done automatically under certain conditions. According to the docs, this feature is limited to working with the SD card, so it may not be able to do what you want.

Thanks UncleMike but the folder I need to purge is not on the sd card so Tasker is not the solution.

Keep the suggestions coming.

Cheers
