I'd like to find an audio player app which works like my tiny Sandisk player did:
1) Allows me to go into files, click a tune, plays that tune, then randomly plays one of my other 1500 tunes, and continues with that until I stop it. So many just play that 1st tune, then stop. Also, a lot of them just REPLAY that 1st tune over & over, even if you hit next >|
2) Shuts off the player/STOPS PLAYING when I hit "close all". Doesn't just close the main APP page & KEEP PLAYING, as many do.
3) Will automatically remember the point I stopped playing ANY audio file FOREVER and begin at that point the next time I open that file, even if it's 2 years later. Audio books are a real PITA without this. I've yet to find a single app which can do this.
4) I don't need or want things like "Shake to skip". Ran into that on a player before I knew this was a "feature". Oddly, it only did it on SOME files.
This all seems pretty basic/obvious and again, my smaller-than-a-matchbox Sandisk has been able to do this for years. Right up until I lost it & began the frustrating task of trying to find an app which actually works. Any suggestions? Other than "Buy another Sandisk" ;-)
