I'm looking for a Barcode app that reads and identifies barcodes only. I do not want or need to do comparison shopping. I am looking for something that can identify and decode different industry code type such as code39, code128, I-2/5, UPC, etc. Does such a thing exist?

"Barcode Scanner" by ZXing, in the market, does all that, afaik. Standard installed on many Android phones. Haven't you got it?

With Barcode Scanner that's an option which you don't have to choose!
