Looking for Casio dumbphone, need help!

So after couple of years of enjoying my awesome Casio Commando, I am going back to a dumbphone. I use the thing too much and would like a phone that doesn't tempt me. A phone that has a battery that last for days. A phone that does what a phone used to - call and text. So I've been looking at some of the older Gzones and need some recommendations!!

There's the Rock, Boulder, Ravine, Ravine 2, Brigade, Type S, and Type V. Did I forget any? The Ravine 2 looks to be out of my price range ($100 or less). So trying to decide between a pricier Brigade (cuz the keyboard) or the Ravine/Boulder/Rock/Type S/Type V.

All are rugged. All have good battery life (and can buy extended battery). I believe the Rock and Boulder had issues with the charging port breaking and the Ravine has crappy call quality. I want longevity, ruggedness, good reception and calling and that's it. I got an Ipod and a Garmin navi.

What would ya'll recommend?

I'd go with the Brigade. Mine went 3 days on a charge (with regular use for calls & texting), AND survived the daily beating I delivered it while working at a sand & gravel pit. This included sand in EVERY crack & crevice, and it went for an accidental swim at least once a week. Never had a problem with the charger, cradle or otherwise. Great speakers and superb call quality. I also beat the hell out of a G'zOne Boulder and it stood up to the same punishment, but I prefer the Brigade;]

I went ahead and got a good deal on a Type-V. I wanted the birgade but it seems they are a hot commodity on ebay and have lots of bidders driving the prices up. I'm not ruling it out for the future! Thanks for the help!

Got the Type-V for $20 shipped.

That's too bad you couldn't get the brigade.

I used to have one. I threw it, hard, multiple times for fun and when I was mad (not at the phone, at people). It withstood everything. The only reason I'm not still using it today is because I accidentally dropped it in the deepest part of a pond, it was deeper than 10 feet at that spot. I wouldn't be surprised if it was still ringing a day later, lol

The type V looks nice, though. Good luck with it.
