Looking for chargers.

I am looking for 2 things.

Dual charger for car, as well as for house AC. Need one though that is not gimped to half an amp.

Or some sort of USB adapter that will short the two pins so the phone will think it is on AC and allow it to charge faster. Both my dual house and car chargers are 4 AMPs each but since they have the plug in your USB connectors into them they are only charging at half an amp each.

Charges 2 devices at once. Tablet and S3. Actually if there was a Threeway charger would be great.

Have one now for house and one for car. Want to be able to charge much faster. The car one in particular cannot even keep up with the drain of the phone alone.

Might wanna take a look in the GALAXY NOTE 2 forum & see what everyone there recommends,as that phone has even greater battery demands than the SGS III.

I can't explain the specifics, only what I know.

Here's what I've just tested.

Samsung S3 charger rated at 1A. Elixir 2 app - Battery currant widget reports charging at 999ma/h (1A)

As above using a splitter cable to charge my S3 AND Sony ereader (off the same cable via splitter) same result.

Also tried with a Samsung mini charger rated at 0.7A - with and without splitter the widget reported battery currant at 999ma/h

Electronic currants and resistance always did boggle me though.

Here is a pic of the splitter, cheap as chips on ebay, bought a few for peeps at work and have 2 myself.

I'm sure the HTC car charger C200 (1A) comes with a pure charging cable, means without data wires and with jumped data pins in its microUSB connector.

I use this cable to let my phone "see" AC charging :)

Using such a cable you'd use your 4 AMPs chargers for fast charging with high amperage :)

i use a Griffin dual-USB charger in my car, and some no-name from Amazon at home. both can output 1 amp to each port. although the AC charger will charge my Nexus 7, it doesn't detect that it is being charged. >_>
