Looking for document creator app

My wife and I have Mytouch 4Gs, and are brand new to android's OS/market. She is in school and trying to find an app that will allow her to type out a document on her phone and save in .doc format. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I use "QuickOffice Pro." It works with the cloud as well.
