I'd like to learn basic knowledge about android such as what is baseband, what is bootloader, what is the recovery, how android rooting works, what's the difference between changing rom and changing kernel (isn't kernel included in the ROM?)
I need such information to evaluate a possible rooting and rom change (I own a Galaxy Nexus with yakjuxw rom and I'd like the yakju).
I'd also like to learn if I can restore my ADB made backup after changing rom.
Thanks in advance for any help!!
