Looking for Firewall functionality

I'm looking for a particular type of firewall:

One that runs in the background and asks me to grant permission every time an application tries to access the internet.

Currently using Droidwall but it doesnt do it for me

Install the app called 'Root Firewall'. With this application you can have full control over the apps which are using internet. Every time you need grant permission for the apps to use the net. Its free app.

Not sure how good it is but avast has a firewall

avast and root firewall and droidwall for that matter, lets you select which applications are allowed to use the internet beforehand.

What I'm looking for is a real time firewall that asks for your permission when an app tries to connect. There are times when i want to block google play store and times when i want to allow!
