Looking for good office application

I need to view and edit .xls and .doc files on my android tablet. I have found a huge number of applications that claim to do it but none that do it well, most just display.

Can anybody recommend one that is actually good. I would be prepared to pay something for it but something with at least a free trial to confirm functionality would be better than a pay up front product.

Quickoffice, Polaris, Thinkfree. However they cannot edit unless you get the paid versions already. If you download the free versions on the Market to try out, the free versions cannot edit.

I've just started using one called Kingsoft Office, free and can edit as well. I've only tried it with .doc files so far, seems to work well though and is very polished. It's in the Google Market.

I have tried the "big 3" (Documents To Go, OfficeSuite Pro, QuickOffice Pro), and found OfficeSuite Pro to be the best of the bunch. It is also the only one that properly handles frozen rows/columns in Excel. All of them have free or trial versions.

I gave some of the above a try. Think I like Documents To Go.

The problem is I am using a coby kyros and none of the applications are actually supported on it, I got them all running by copying the .apk fines from my phone but I herd the unlock keys are derived from your IMEI which could be a problem on a tablet with no cell connection of any kind.
