Looking for: Google Sync Widget/application

Searched the forums and couldn't find anything...I was wondering if anyone knew of a program/widget/workaround for this:
I have auto sync turned off. I don't need my email to refresh every some odd minutes, and having auto sync off extends battery life. However, I would like a quick way to do a 'manual' sync, instead of turning auto sync on, waiting 30 seconds, and turning it off. Ideally, I'd love a 1x1 widget that I could press to do a google sync (gmail, calendar, contacts). Does anyone know of anything?

what about just going into your accounts menu under settings and telling it to refresh?

could you setup a link or shortcut to do it?

There is a widget called "Sync All" on my HTC Desire. Is there a way to extract this widget and use it f.e. on your phone?

I just downloaded the app "Synker" from market.
It's still in beta but it has a "sync all" widget, much like the HTC stock one, and it seems to work just fine.
