Looking for help. SG2 Camera failed

Dear Team,

I am looking for your valuable inputs and help to solve camera problem in my Galaxy S2. This is two month old phone with ICS 4.0.4. The camera used to work earlier, now I am getting "Camera failed" error. I have uninstalled all apps, did factory reset few times. After one of the factory resets camera worked for some time. Failed later. Samsung support is asking for sending the handset to their repair center. I am worried about sending it to repair. I suspect it is some kind of driver problem or software problem. Please let me know your inputs. Is there a way to diagnose the issue ?

The phone is two month old. I can't get a replacement. I need to leave it at the service center.
A different topic : - today I was playing a streaming video in full screen. After sometime, I noticed the screen is locked and I cudn't find a way to unlock it, home key or power button did not help. Finally I had to reboot. Anybody is aware of this issue ?
