looking for hide app app

i am looking for a hide an app. not just one that locks the app but one that makes the icon disappear from the list. plus i really hope its icon is not called something like hide apps or all hidden apps here. how stupid is that. if youre looking to hide an app why call everyones attention to look where it will be hidden

What you need is a home screen launcher that will enable/allow you to hide what apps show-up in your app drawer.

I'm guessing most do this, but I use Nova Launcher to hide the apps in the app drawer that I don't really use or want/need to see.

Sounds like you've got some Chinese phone there, like an Oppo, Huawei or Meizu, or even an Apple iPhone. Because that's how those devices operate. Change the launcher to Nova possibly.

... that feature combined with the ability to disable apps pretty much removes the need to root to get rid of pre-installed software.

I think it might be an option in Nova Launcher Prime (I never remember what isn't included in the free version).

ADW also does that. I understand it has just been updated...finally. Although I have been using ADW EX for years now and never noticed a problem.
