What the title says. ;)

Im looking for a few more testers to run my Alpha ROM release through the ringer for bugs.

This ROM is also based on the eh29 baseband revision. So make sure you are on that revision (settings - about phone). If your on eh09 you should still be able to install it, but you may encounter a roaming indicator, but you will not be roaming. I'm interested to find out if eh29 ROM is compatible with eh09.
If you want to switch to eh29 (which is the more recent build for our phones) just flash the corporate flashing utility I posted in this sub forum. I'm at work now, so I won't be able to respond for another 8 hours or so.

I flashed your rom and it works great. I can even picture message again. I flashed it on the second version of cwm and yes Im on eh09 and I do get the roaming indicator like you said I would get but its not roaming. Link2sd works also with ext4. Market needed an update and it didnt want to update on its own and wouldnt let me install apps but I manually did the update myself and it works fine now. Volume+ app kept giving me force close issues so I had to uninstall it but the phone itself is loud enough already so no need for it. It looks and feels great, nice job. Ill try it out with the eh29 later tonight when I get off work. Hope others test it out too and give feedback. Ill definitely be donating when I get paid. Anything else you like me to try out just let me know.

I'll be releasing one more revision to alpha before going to a public beta release. Hoping to have that done by late tonight sometime (Taking a long weekend and going camping for my mine and my Wifes 3rd Anniversary), if not by Sunday/Monday.

If you decide to go from EH09 to EH29, just keep in mind that Im _not_ sure if you will be able to restore via titanium backup, since its technically a different nuild -- you may run into issues. Also, one of my testers is telling me that when upgrading, they had to reformat and repartition their SDcard for Link2SD to work. Keep that in mind.

Just to confirm, you're using Req's OC Kernel _and_ CWM 5.0.2.8? You're formatted to ext4 across the board as well?
How is data/wifi/gps/BT? On the preliminary testing I did over a month back, gps, wifi and data were broken for me on that kernel.
If you could test gps satellite (by turning off wifi and mobile data, and using only gps sats), wifi and data and report back to verify they work, that would be great :)
 
Yes im on reqs oc kernal 5.0.2.8 cwm. I just tried the gps and wifi and it worked fine. The gps took a few minutes to find me after turning off then on gps but it didnt take that long. Unfortunately i really cant test the bluetooth but so far all is working great.

Testing out cwm5.0.2.8 and req's kernel again.

Again, wifi/gps and data are nerfed.

What were the steps you took to install req's kernel, cwm and all subsequent roms?

My process was as follows:
install cwm and kernel from 5.0.2.7
reboot recovery
wipe data/factory reset
format cache
install ROM (I've made an ext4 version that auto formats).
 
Oops, my bad. I thought I did but I didn't flash reqs oc kernal. I usually do after I flash a rom but I didnt this time, sorry for the misinformation. I do have 5.0.2.8 thou, and I havent been able to try it out with the eh29 like I said I was going to yesterday. For some reason it wont let me download it.
