Hey guys, i always use my fingerprint to enter my phone and i can get in it fine. problem is that i dont remember the backup password i used. so now i am trying to change my screen lock but it wants the password. is there anyway i can get this to work? i have access to my phone through fingerprint.
any help would be most appreciated. thanks

I think you'll have to factory reset in recovery (vol up + power from powered off state)

I think that will mess up the OP more. He will be asked for that password if he did that and FRP made me not root anymore. You can turn off the password right? let me see...

oh wow in order for you to turn off the password you have to put your password first, sorry, can't help ya.

Google is my BFF though. I AM SURE you can find a solution online for that.

Pretty sure I read somewhere the frp can be bypassed by factory resetting a few times. When I factory reseted a few times in recovery it didn't ask me for my google info

Hmm that's news to me. Pretty sure that's not accurate though coz there won't be a LOT of FRP bypasses that is sooooo complicated people still did ALL the ridiculous steps just to bypass FRP on their phone including me.

If that is true. There will be a lot of people saying that works.
