Hey guys,
I'm just getting into Tasker, I've been through a few training videos etc. and I'm into the basic swing of things.
I have the phone set up to turn off wifi/data when I switch off the screen, then when I turn on the screen around my house, it turns on the wifi, otherwise if I'm nowhere near home, then it turns on the mobile data.
This is done crazy wonders for my battery life.
However I really want to improve on this slightly by waking the phone up periodically (maybe every 30 or 60 minutes) and updating a few specific apps before shutting down the data connection again:
1) my gmail app
2) My Facebook
3) My Pebble Glance app
I've tried downloading other people's apps, but the gmail and pebble glance especially don't seem to update when I want them to.
How would you guys go about this?
