Help Looking for these features

It seems the new androids are starting to mix the past with the future - woot!!
So with that said, I am looking for a phone with the following features - hopefully there are manufacturers on here that read this and will implement if not available.

  • Slider phone (req), don't need QWERTY board - see below, or a flip phone (not those gigantic ones
  • Any OS
  • Voice to text (comes with android) and other voice command features.
Those are really the 3 I am looking for. Problem is I am 80% - 85% hands free and use my device voice only - with the exception of data entry. That means it is imperative I get voice-to-text. OS is not an issue if it can at least support that.

Been looking on and off for a few weeks, and I see lots of slick looking sliders, but most of them pretty much dumped the old 90's os into a fancy new design.

Example the Old LG SECRET KF750 would be perfect if it was a little more modernized
the Nokia 7110 Type NSE-5 (the Matrix phone)

At first I thought the new RAZR was pretty slick, however it is a little "squatish" not quite like its predecessor. So decided against that one. I may get it for nostalgic reasons (I still have my old RAZR V3)

All those phone would be great if it had modern voice-to-text and voice support.

YES! I treat my device like an assistant. Its too bad the majority of the population still treat devices like SIDEKICKS(face buried while walking or sitting), Otherwise I feel the manufacturers would give more attention to the voice-to-text and other voice features. Its SHOCKING how many people do not use voice commands on their devices(I mean other than "call mom" and/or "text charlie brown - how is snoopy").

Anyone have any suggestions, even future phones? I may have to wait.

A slider phone? I had one those back in 2006, a Nokia N95. Which lasted me about six months before it broke. When I replaced it with an iPhone, that I immediately applied a jailbreak to it. As for folding or flip phones, you got Samsung Fold series. But can be expensive, and long term reliability might be a problem, same with sliding phones in my experience .
Well you got Android or iOS, so take your choice. Unless you want a dumb phone?

well nokia did make a modern version of the Matrix phone back in 2018.

not sure why you would want now, however.

why did you want a slider phone? i have always had issues with the keyboard breaking or the slider would break, when i owned a sidekick back in the day. i went from a side kick to my first android phone the HTC Hero.....and i never looked back.

just get a mid level samsung phone. they all have good text to speech options.

It so happens I have a team developing an app that reverts time by up to twenty years.
We are still working on ways to bypass 2020 though.

If we are successful, I would heartily recommended my Sony Ericsson P910i. Best phone ever for phoney things.

OK class, lets count
1, 2, and 3 replies NONE of what answered the question. Just trolls. So lets address each one in the order they were received.

@mikedt thanks for sharing your personal problems with your experience with a slider - it could be that you lack motor skills to take care of phones, and the iphone vs android is a inferiority complex as what does a iphone do that an android cant. Right nothing - it is a status phone. A simple over priced android. Nothing more - I've had them myself - boring. I have an Umidigi AS 5 Pro - looks almost exactly like an iphone 10 (just a coincidence, not my choice, I liked the affordability for the features it has). as far as OS's you forgot a couple (java and blackberry and windows).

@ocnbrze You answer and limited knowledge on what phone to suggest is based on my reasoning of "why" I would want one? Really? like mikedt thanks (but no thanks) for sharing your clumsiness with your sidekick and the inability to take care of such a simple phone, I still have mine. - which is BTW, a swivel phone, NOT a slider or flip. The OP was not "what dumb phone did you have and what pone did you switch to"... READ. As I mentioned to @mikedt I already have a nice android

@Madd61 That phone looks interesting. I'll check it out. And keep working on the time machine.. I am pretty sure most people grandparents here are younger than me. Which means if you get it to work. hopefully we can teach kids not to have kids post 1980.

Now to conclude: You guys are probably not aware but motorola razr came back out in 2019 - and old slick looking dumb phone with modern twist. A "FLIP" phone. So looks like pooling everyone's answer together - a similar phone could not be suggested. So I'll repeat, was just looking for something unique - let face it, you cant tell the difference from and android or a iphone. My umidigi people are always confusing with an iphone. So looking to get back to unique designed phones. THATS WHY I AM ISO.

So I guess I'll answer my own question.
Here are a few to get by that I was looking up for those that read this and are interested: I found these after I did a few hours of searching due to the rude answers here. I'll be looking into these

A couple sliders(these 3 are similar but not really technically a slider.)
Honor Magic 2
Xiaomi Mi Mix 3
Lenovo Z5 Pro

FLIP
Samsung Galazy z
Folder2
SONY Xperia XZ1
Kristian Ulrich Larsen’s “Flip” phone

So you're just making assumptions. OK.
FYI I bought the iPhone in 2007, that was before Android was even a thing. And I have excellent motor skills, thank you very much!

Yeh, and there was things like Nokia Symbian, and Qualcomm Brew as well. But those are all dead, buried, and very much discontinued. FYI Microsoft nixed Windows Phone completely, and Blackberry's current devices run Android.

Anyway, have a nice day.
