Looking forward to learning more about my wife's new phone. She has purchased an HTC Wildfire S thru Virgin Mobile using the $35 a month Beyond Talk plan. This phone will primarily serve as a way to check mail and text. Maybe a little Youtube, rss feeds also. we live in a rural area a few miles outside of town and drive in 3-4 times a month to the library where we do the heavy lifting on our Linux based laptops. This phone will help. us avoid missing important emails in between those visits. We are lucky to haeve a library system that leaves their WiFi on 24/7 so we can go in there when they are open and sit on the lot when they are closed and log in from the car. I watched Radiohead do their first set on the first weekend of Coachella this year! Hoping to learn enough here to root this thing so I can use the SD card to extend the pitiful 150 megs of internal storage so I can add a few apps as well as dump some of the useless preinstalled crapware. Looking forward to learning from you Android pros out there!
