Looking to transfer word documents

[Android Question]

We got my mom a Klu LT7033 android tablet so that she could put her songbook from her computer on it. But we can not seem to figure out how to transfer the songbook from microsoft word on her laptop to her tablet.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I think the easy way (assuming you have wifi available) would be to open a dropbox account and install dropox on both laptop and tablet. Then put the songbook word file in a dropbox folder on the laptop. It will appear in dropbox on the tablet. "Favorite" the file(s) and it will be downloaded to the tablet and kept in sync over wifi.

You will need an app on the tablet to open the word files - try Kingsoft Office or Quickoffice - both free from Playstore
