"Lookout" alternative

Any good apps that I could use to help locate/wipe and erase my phone data in case it gets lost? Lookout app tends to drain the battery to quickly so I'm looking for an alternative that I can keep running without taking up much battery.

There's no such a thing. There's Android device manager that did not do the job when tested.

I can go to any pc or tablet and lock wipe alarm find my S4. And it cannot remove from my settings as is coded.

I use Cerberus. It's a pay app but it's a one time fee instead of a monthly fee. Can track the phone, wipe data, take pictures and send them to you.. pretty cool app.

Ok I tested again android device manager. It seems that now is doing the job. Recommend it to.

Today I got the 4.4.2 update from 4.2.2,
so there is no need of any lockout apps because in settings you have remote controls, so through Samsung account you can do this from any pc, tablet mobile phone. Long live Samsung.

Thanks for sharing this. I just found out that the Note 3 comes with the equivalent of "find my iphone" called device manager. That seems to get the job done with minimal battery drain thus far. I will report if it does end up eating more battery during usage.

I second this one. It's a bit more robust than the Android Device Manager, but both are good options.

Have had my phone for several months now & still haven't dug into it to see what it has.
