Loose touch panel

Anyone experiencing a loose touch panel?

The glass on my Desire S was very slightly below the bezel all the way round. Now the top left is flush with the bezel, and the bottom left is a good mm or so above the bezel. You can press on it and push it flush. Also, when the centre of the screen as pressure out on it you can see a patch where it contacts the panel below.

I assume HTC will repair under warrenty, there is no damage, the phone has never been dropped. Any idea how long this takes?

It probably depends on the nature of the repair and how well run the workshop is wherever your phone ends up.

Some people have got their phone back after a 2-3 days, while others wait for 2-3 weeks.

If you have a contract with a network provider, go through them rather than HTC. You'll have more protection/benefits should anything get lost or you have to wait too long.

Got it from CPW who just send it to HTC. My network is o2 and doubt they'd take it but I wouldn't touch their repairs again anyway!
