*LOOSEN* screws to fix screen separation

After doing a lot of reading, it seems like the fix to the screen separation is not to tighten the screws, but rather, to loosen the screws. The screws are actually a tad too long and push the screen out more when tightened or straight out of the box.

I tested this out myself today, loosening all the screws until they spin freely, and then very slightly tightening them, just to make sure the screen doesn't fall off. My screen lays perfectly now, is super solid, and cures my OCD.

Amazingly, this also cures screen bleed and touchscreen unresponsiveness. This is the first fix that has worked for me, and it's the first one that truly makes sense.

I am now 100% happy with my Nexus 7. Do this 5 minute fix and feel the same way.

Unfortunately, that is one of many "fixes" that have been touted on various forums, along with washers under screws, tightening screws, removing bits of sponge, glueing and holding the N7 on your head whilst spinning around 3 times and whistling the theme tune to Dora the Explorer.

In most cases the screen is lifting within 24 hours.
The only one I have found works longer is washers, though I haven't tried glueing yet (and the spinning round and whistling seemed to make it worse).

Really? I frequent many forums and never saw it. And it works with mine. I'll have to keep checking. Well, carry on I guess.

I'm not saying it won't work on yours, just basically saying don't get your hopes raised too much.
I don't think anything should really be called a fix unless it is still solid after a few days to a week at least.

Though I hope it does work for you :)
