Lose battery juice when making phone calls

I noticed when talking to someone it the note 2 seems to waste battery quicker then doing anything else on it anybody know why?

Could be your signal strength...check your dBm levels during your next call. Any signal in the 90s to 100s, battery will taje more of a hit than in 50s or 60s.
