Help Lose my Straight Talk coverage??!!

Simple 2 part question: IF i where to flash a new ROM to my precedent would i lose my coverage plan and if not how so?(meaning what do they base there coverage on is there a special code that on the phone that no matter how many roms you flash your still able to keep your plan) explain please :)

Flashing a rom to your phone is just like changing from Win XP to Win 7 on your phone. The phone info is embedded in the chipset, this chip is like the BIOS on a motherboard. it can't be changed without flashing the BIOS.

You just have to make sure the ROM you flash, is for the Precedent. All roms are written (or MODDED) phone specific.

This forum has instructions to flash a rom. with the precedent, you have to follow the instructions to the letter.
 
thanks so much for the info!! now i will look at the forums and determine which ROM is best suited for my precedent.. thanks again now i can do it with confidence!:D
