I've noticed that if my battery gets depleted and the phone shuts down because of it, I loose some settings. Most noticeably the default application for launching URLs is lost. I set Dolphin HD as the default, but it gets lost if the phone shuts down. I'm not sure if anything else gets wiped out, that's the one I use the most.
Not related to this, but the battery charge is really weird sometimes. Some days it can't hold out 15 hours even though I barely touch the phone (in home all day, WiFi connected), yet other times it holds almost two days with regular usage, WiFi and 3G connections used.
