Loss of battery life

Is it just me or have other users noticed their screen on time is dwindling? I was pulling 7 or more hrs of s.o.t. (screen on time) when I first got the device. Now 5 or 5.5 hrs is the norm.

Awfully dramatic change considering this phone isn't very old.

Originally I thought Facebook was to blame (i got lazy and decided to install it instead of using a browser) but then I assumed it was the reason my battery sucked so I uninstalled it last week but battery life isn't so great.

Right now I'm at 84% (was fully charged when I took it off the charger) with 1hr exactly of screen on time.

What gives? Nothing unusual shows up in the battery portion of the settings

You are not the only one. After the update I had the alarming fast battery drain experience. It did not happen immediately after the update though. Maybe a week after. What I was told was delete the cache. Settings - storage - cache then clear it.

I even uninstalled my cache clear app. Right now, my battery is not draining as fast when idle. At least I don't feel the need to charge it today. Before the update, my battery lasts for days.

It still drains fast while in use but not as much. Just make it a habit to clear your cache I suppose.

This phone though is so unstable, I like it but I read somewhere nougat drains battery so I don't know if zmax pro can handle a nougat. I still would want nougat on my phone though. I am sure I can figure out a way to deal with whatever bugs it comes with, I always do.
