Hello peeps,

Recently ive noticed that a certain area on the left hand side of my phone (whilst in portrait) seems to be unresponsive/wacky.

e.g. say your composing a text message whilst in portrait mode, everytime i switch to the numerics and special characters and attempt to press 1, it selects !. now, i did a test on the number 1 key and i get:

!111111!1111!!11!

pressing ! alone

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

very odd and was wondering if anyone was experiencing this?

Thanks in advance!

Can't say I've noticed, sorry.

Is it quirky with any other app?

yeah its everything from youtube and flash vids to other apps that require anything pressing along that area....

just wondering if anyones experienced the same issue thats all before i raised it with HTC support.

p.s. do have a protective film on the screen...that wouldnt cause the issue would it? never did before nor does it look damaged?

well, its off to them to fix now - HTC pciked it up and 7 working days...till then? im using this...lol:

OT-209 / Basic / GSM / Products / Global / Home - ALCATEL Mobile Phones

i know what you guys are saying...omg, that is like....amazing! yeah, polyphonic ringtones??? hell yeah! who needs a camera....torch??? fake calls?? 2 8bit games?? no predictive texting???

there is a plus side to this phone, battery life, geebus, 500mah and over 60 hours use so far? still on full bars :)
