Help Loss of Contacts & Syncing Issues. Help!

I un-synced my facebook account on my Desire because I wanted to replace the old 'Favourites' photo's from old profile pics to new ones that some of my friends have changed. When I re-synced it, this was successful, but all my existing Contacts went haywire and my existing Sim contacts became invisible.

Not really sure how to get it back to the way it was, and would appreciate any advice, if any of this makes sense to anyone!?

Silly question, but have you got the sim contacts selected under the view options?

yes i do. not sure what's going on at all!

I had syncing problems with gmail for contacts & calendar when my internal memory was low.
Try freeing up some memory.
