Lost all Phone Contacts :-(

Hi i am new to this forum, currently job hunting and unbelievably have LOST ALL MY contacts, sooo not funny Please HELP, thank you.

BTW my handset is HTC Desire. Losing memory is also a major issue Have just realised that I have not only lost all my contacts, all my saved text messages as well :-(

Details would be nice, for example, what did you do?
Are your contacts not Google contacts? If not, they really should be, it's actually amazing.
Messages, well, people use smsbackup+ I think it's called. Backs them up few minutes after you receive em.

Log in to your Gmail account and see if they are there.
I too use SMS Backup to save my texts. Emails and contacts are on the google server so they sync back automatically.
