Root Lost app icon in app drawer

A few days ago by mistake I deleted a app icon from the app drawer.
I can get it back on any of my home screens but I can't figure out how to get it back in my app drawer (Not the dock bar).

I am using Go Launcher.

since no one seams to care I tried something.
I removed and reinstalled the app and the icon is back.
Since I don't want to loose my data I just restored my data and all is fine.

Wouldn't deleting the app icon uninstall the app? Never mind, all is good now.
