Lost contacts and can't restore them, help?

When I first imported my contacts (F60), everything went smoothly (of course I used the same email for my new phone as I had on my last one). Once I had everything switched over, I went to my old phone (F6) and manually deleted the contacts.

Later, I did a factory reset on my new phone to try to get back the quick memo function that I had accidentally deleted. When my phone came back on, my contacts were never imported again, they were all gone.

I logged into my Gmail via desktop and they were gone there as well. I powered off my phone, manually restored contacts on my desktop via gmail, then powered my phone back on. Nothing. They're in my gmail, but not my phone. I really don't want to manually type in the #'s again one by one.

What gives?
Advice is appreciated.

Sounds like when you deleted the numbers off your old phone, you deleted them from Gmail. You may want to log in to gmail on a desktop asap and see if the contacts are there or not. If not I think there's a restore option somewhere IIRC.

Yeah, this is what happened. I logged on via desktop and there's an option to restore contacts, so I did. Then I synced on my phone and voila!
