Hey guys!

I have a quick question.
A few hours ago I tried to update a few apps in Google Play Store but a server error appeared.
I searched for different ways to fix this error and one of them was to remove and re-add my Google Account.
After I did this I discovered that a lot of my contacts are gone and I'm very upset now. And was using only this account.
The email I used for my google account was not in Gmail so I don't have any of my contacts saved there. I also checked my email - nothing there too.
Is there a way to recover my contacts? It's extremely important to me.

Thank you
Iskren

I'm afraid that if you did not have the contacts saved to your Google account, computer or somewhere, they are gone. IOW, if they existed only on the phone and you ha no backup file you're outta luck. You could try going here, just to be sure Google really can't recover them:

Was one of the apps that was updating a contacts or dialer app? If so, possibly there was an auto-backup feature?

You can save contacts from any account to Google/Gmail, they don't have to be Gmail contacts. Aand you can hve multiple Google accounts on one phone so all your contacts from any account are there.. I strongly suggest always saving all contacts to Google. I've used several Gmail accounts almost from the beginng of Gmail and never lost a single contact.
