Help Lost Contacts - Help

Hello all,
This is probably a dumb question, but are the contacts of my Samsung Galaxy S (Android 2.2) saved anyware in the phones file folder directory? I got mine and my wifes phones mixed up, I connected hers to my pc, copied all the files/folders to my PC (Folders like, Android, Downloads, etc..) and then reverted to defaults. Well, since I thought it was mine I accidentally lost all of her contacts.. :-( I looked through every folder and I couldnt find anything. Doesnt make sense that I copied all the info from the phone over for them to not be there.

Is there any hope of getting them out of all the files/folders that I backed up?

Hi ,Welcome to AF

Now there are remote possibilities available
A)Your wife backed up the contacts via export to sd card option .Then look for .vcf files in SD card .and just use import from sd card option via phone /
B.)Your wife synced the contacts to her gmail account .Then she just has to login to her gmail account and she will have those contacts already!! .

Other than that .Tough luck .
