Help lost contacts when updating

sprint did a update and i lost some contacts has
anyone ele had this happen its annoying please help

Go to settings, turn off then on the sync. Or turn the phone off, pull the battery, turn it back on. Or if you also have Google contacts on your PC, change one and see if it reflects on the phone... all the usual suspects. And no, this did not happen on my phone.
