Help Lost data connectivity!

Last night my data/internet stopped working, though I could still text/phone.

I tried rebooting, rebooting while in airplane mode, and everything my novice self knew-next to nothing.

Since my phone is rooted (cm7) I didn't want to take it in to a MetroPCS srore.

My data randomly returned this afternoon. What causes this? It happened once before shortly after rooting, lost the date about 11pm (about the same time as last night, interestingly) but I got it back in the morning.

metro is obviously doing something...i checked a stock phone it was down too..no worries mine came back up same with my wifes..we both sport the backside port...

This happened to me today as well. Around 10 this morning I went to use google maps and the thing rebooted on me. After the reboot, I didn't have data connectivity. Finally around 4 this afternoon my data came back. This is actually the first time I've been without data since I got the phone over a year ago.

Oh good so it's not just me.

And to think the guy that rooted me a few weeks back wanted to charge me 25 bucks to "check it out".

Good thing I decided to hold off for a day.

Well it happened again. Data connectivity lost about 11-12 last night and stayed off til 9am or so.

Why does this happen?
