Help LOST DATA ON SD CARD PLZ HELP

hello all
i have an htc desire 816 device with a new 16 Gb samsung sd card
today i wanted to move all my files from internal storage to sd card so i plugged the mobile in computer with usb cable and selected All files on internal storage>then cut>then paste to sd card
after the transfer complete i unplugged the device but when i open gallery,files,music ..NOTHING is on sd card or internal storage exept the apps..
im new here sorry for any mistakes in the question but i really want to recover all my files..thanks

Use that to verify that you have a genuine Samsung 16 GB card and that you didn't get ripped off with a counterfeit.

If it's counterfeit, your files are gone.

If it's genuine, get an SD card reader for your pc (they're not expensive), move card from phone to pc, and try Recuva.

Recuva is easy to find on the Web.

You can try Recuva, it's at least reporting 16 GB. It won't hurt to try.

Where did you buy it from?

i bought it from a mobile shop near my house.. no warranty
