Lost Droid Battery Cover

Joneke

Newbie
I currently have lost the Battery Cover to my Motorola Droid within the first two weeks of me having the phone. I have yet to take it off once, I must have gotten a lose one (Which I have read is quite a problem).

I e-mailed Motorola and they linked me to purchase a new Cover for $10, plus $5 shipping (And that wouldn't even ship for another 5-6 days!).

Am I entitled to a free replacement? Will Verizon (I know, "call them") replace one for me?

Thanks.

Seriously,.. that would fall under warranty. You may even have to swap phones,.. if the latch that holds the cover on is defective. Of course call Verizon,,... but I would think you could march into the store and not leave until you had a complete phone.

I read about the problems with the battery covers and was happy I did not have such problems - until day three, when the battery cover fell off.

Simple solutions. I bought a case for the phone and now the battery cover is locked in.
