lost file

Hi there, not much of a tablet geek so I need some help for I have not seen this problem listed in the forum.after the latest update in my gmail I had lost the way my gmail looked.after downloading a new application all was good again, but I had lost my" favorites" email file and do not know how to get it back. Appreciate any help, tks

Welcome aboard , to solve this you can resign into your gmail app and go into settings / accounts / Google and check the unchecked options so it sync's your email along with your favorites .

Thank you for your reply ,I did go to the steps that you suggested tried it actually a couple of times. it looks like its not synching. latest update was 3 days ago when a new app or Gmail was installed.is there a way maybe I can find the deleted app or files. Tks
