Lost galaxy sII

My son has had his bag stolen, unfortunately containing his phone. Is there any way of tracking it's whereabouts??

Do you know if he had anything tracking apps installed such as Lookout? Does he have Latitude turned on in Maps?
If neither are done it may be extremely difficult to track his phone.

If the thief hasn't turned the phone off or done a factory reset, you can try installing Plan B from the Play store. From the web store, Plan B will install on the phone and send an email to you GMail account with location data.
