Help lost incoming sms notifcation sound

I had a SMS incoming notification tone that worked for a while but not anymore, not sure if an app is interfering with it. Is that possible? Is there a way to check without uninstalling them?
 
fixed problem, found answer on another forum, for anyone interested look in the setting options under new message and one is incoming sms tone, change to what you want. So there are 2 settings options, one under sound and display and one under new message options. thanks to those who read, hope this helps.
