Lost Job / How to sell Thunderbolt?

Hi,

I am looking to downgrade to a non-data plan phone for economic reasons. How can I sell my Thunderbolt? What I mean is, how would I remove my info and ownership from the phone to prepare it for sale?

Thank you

Just do a factory reset and it will take all info everything off the phone and make it just like when you got the phone in the box.

And buy a shity phone to replace it for lik 20 bucks on ebay or any verizon phone not in service to replace its service n ur good to go

So, I guess the phone is not tied to my contract then, right? I am on contract but I can use any phone I choose?

Correct :) you can drop the data portion of your plan and assign a new phone ESN to your voice plan without penalty (call to verify, but I have done this).

Sorry about the job loss :(, how much are you looking to get for the phone? I might be interested and I could give you a mint LG Dare to have as a dumb phone.

If the phone is not tied into a contract then buy a cheap phone and drop data, then keep TB as wifi only device, until times are better.
Just an idea :) hope it gets better soon for you.

use the Cypher command prompt on your computer to completely wipe the SD card beyond the ability of just formatting it using the phone's menu.

this will take about 1-2 hours for a complete wipe of the SD card, but trust me--it's much much more thorough and will prevent any data from being recovered off your microSD card.

I feel for you on the job my brotha. I spent quite a while unemployed, and now I'm doing the dame thing I used to do for about $5 less an hour. With almost 5X the commute. And with gas prices....

Did a quick search on Gazelle and they would pay up to $215 for a LNIB (with all accessories and manual) T-bolt. Sorry about the job loss. Good luck.

HE can get $500 selling it on his own. $215 is an insult and they would turn around and sell it for over $500.
