Help Lost Launcher and SD card

Hi everyone

Bought a San Francisco yesterday, unlocked, rooted and with lots of apps on SD card. I have never used a smartphone before but managed to set up google etc and wifi but somehow deleted the launcher from the homescreen (I might have deleted other things but am not sure what is on the home screen)

I was told there are lots of additional apps on the SD card but I don't know how to get to the SD card. Is it through the lost launcher.

I have no book or guide for the phone - is there an idiot's guide somewhere.

Any help appreciated, I am a pensioner trying to get into the 2lst century with no children to ask.

The launcher is the homescreen, are you saying you have no homescreen?
Apps on the SD Card are not hidden away! :) they are with the rest of the apostle which can be accessed by pressing a grid like button at the bottom of the homescreen :)

Oh! Long press on the home screen and select it as a shortcut from the list. Then drag it onto the the dock (static bottom)

Thanks, I will try that in the morning. I have spent too long playing with the phone and have backache.

Oh, sorry about that :(

If we get this sorted, hopefully you may be delighted to be playing with the phone too much ;) :D

Same happened to me today (geez and I just got it today). I Long Pressed on the screen, chose launcher actions and then the Open/Close App Drawer. I do not know why it disappeared though >.<! Btw that will place a shortcut on the home screen which you can put back to where it was.
