lost my hotspot with update

I just updated to the new 4.3 version on my s3. My phone was rooted mainly for a hotspot so i could use in my motor home. The update makes the hotspot not work When i press the icon it goes to verizon asking me to sign up to use. Can anyone help me. Thanks

Verizon no longer allows tethering (which is what a hotspot is) unless you pay for a tethering plan (which is probably what they're asking you to sign up for). The policy is very recent, and just happened to go into effect where you are when you updated. It's not in the update.
