Lost my Virtual Keyboard

Sorry for the noob question!

I went to the native Running Services to see what apps were running in the background. I accidentally ended the "keyboard" service, and now I can't find it to bring it back!?

Every time i try to enter text in any field the virtual keyboard will not show, and it forces me to use the physical keyboard.

How do I get it back?

Rebooting the phone should take care of it

Hmm I did try rebooting, pulled the battery for 30 sec, and it's still gone

Go to Settings-Language and Keyboard and make sure android keyboard is checked. if not check it and reboot the phone

Go to settings> language and keyboard

Check off Android Keyboard (make sure it has a green check mark)

Then you should get the keyboard back.
