I lost the passwors to my event anyway to get it back with adb or anything else. Really would rather not factory reset but I can if I have to.

Is it your gmail password or the password you need to actually access the phone?

No its not gmail. Its the pin on the phone. I thought there was a way to reset it via adb.
Not as far as I'm aware, but if you enter it incorrectly a certain number of times, you should be prompted for your Gmail account info?
