Help Lost Phone

Hello everybody,
I have a really big problem: I lost my Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 phone and I had all my contacts and fotos saved on there. Unfortunately I don't remember exactly the Google Play address that I had saved on there, but I remember more or less what the eMail was (1 or 2 letters different, since it was just my name with some spelling mistakes, and I remember the password) I do remember though all the 4 different phone numbers that came with four different sim cards that I have used with that phone. Do you guys know if there is a way to recover the fotos and more importantly the contacts that I've had on that phone?
Any help would be appreciated
Thank you

If you synced your contacts with your Gmail account then they will still be saved there. You can access them by logging into Gmail, and if you use the same account with a new phone they will sync to it. If you almost remember it, try to log in via a Web browser and see whether you can guess it correctly.

The phone numbers associated with the sim cards are not important. It's the GMail account that matters.

As for photos, if you synced them with any cloud service then again you can retrieve them. Otherwise you need to find the phone to get them back.

I never pressed any button saying "sync contacts" or anything like that. It never does that
automatically?

Thanks for the quick answer

and isn't my gmail account associated to the phone numbers somehow? this way I could find out the exact address first and then recover the data

The GMail account is associated with the phone (it's the Google account you used with it). The phone number is associated with the sim. If you change SIMs the GMail account doesn't change. So no, it's not automatically linked. A lot more people know my phone number than the GMail account I use with the phone, and knowing my number does not let them look up my Gmail address - it would be a huge security fail if it did.

If you gave one of those numbers as a recovery number for the GMail account then they'd know that - might help if you use the "I forgot my address" feature.

You don't need to manually press a sync button, but you do need to have stored the contacts as Google contacts and have synching enabled. Both may well have been the defaults, it depends on how Samsung set things up.
