Lost Play store and browser(s) after root

I just rooted by Galaxy S II GT-I9100 running 4.1.2 using a tutorial

(sorry wouldn't let me link on my first post)

It all worked and it is rooted and all the apps were there but then it rebooted and when it came back a random bunch of apps had disappeared. Which would be fine but these included the Play Store app and all my browser apps.

This has left me with a problem, any suggestions?

Sounds like you need to get back to stock before anything else. Which carrier are you on and which version of the I900 do you have? Sometimes those tutorials can be very specific/sensitive to that.
