lost privacy settings on android 2.2

If anyone is trying to find their privacy settings to automatically back up data on Android after upgrading to version 2.2, what you need to do is:

*press the search key, press menu, tick the settings in the drop down box, go back and enter in the google search box 'privacy' and you should now find the setting*

Please note if you have swipe on your phone this will need to be disabled as it prevents the privacy setting from showing. You can re-enable after ticking back up data

Cant you just go under settings. then security and privacy and its in there I think. Cant look now as my battery died and dont feel like plugging it in.

no you don't see the privacy menu when going through settings... at least I couldn't find it. but searching this way did!
